Bzzzzz

I worried that in the time it took me to get the camera, set up and fire the shutter the fly might have buzzed off. Luckily, it seemed to be enjoying the sunshine, so I could get a couple of shots. Unfortunately, the shot that I wanted, where the shadow was thrown across the surface by the low angle of the sun, was out of focus. Darned compact cameras.
