Inspiring my marks

I completely forgot, writing yesterday’s post about scribbling, to mention those proper artists that inspired me to a great extent when I was a child.

Obviously, copyright precludes me from posting any of their actual work here, but if you want to see it you can usually find stuff by clicking through or searching for their names in the usual way.

Pet Names

Six images, arranged in a three across by two down grid, showing a long-haired black domestic cat in various poses and being generally adorable.
Billy-puss, doing cat.

Billy you’ve met before. He’s our current cat, in that he is the fifth one we’ve adopted from our local Cats Protection centre in the past couple of decades.

Billy has been with us since May 2016. According to his documents, he is going to be 13 years old this year. He is a bit overweight, and is supposedly on a diet. It doesn’t seem to be doing any good, but equally he doesn’t seem at all bothered about it. Neither are we, even if the vet does mither about weight loss during Billy’s regular checkup.

Like many pets, Billy has acquired nicknames during his time here. I made a list, because that’s the silly thing I like to do occasionally.
